A collection of nine tapes by artists with connections to American rock star Jimi Hendrix.

This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973.

The tapes are for: a Chris Farlowe's recording of "I'm a Fool"; Kevin Ayers' "Real Lost Girl"; Eire Apparent's 1968 single "Follow Me"; Alan Price's covers of "Hi Lili, Hi Lo", "Just Once in My Life" and "Let Me Be Yours Until Tomorrow"; a three-track piece by The V.I.P.'s featuring "Anyone" and "Winter Time"; a three-track piece by Bobby Marchan; and an unknown demo, possibly by Kevin Ayers. Each tape has a width of 0.6 cm, and some are branded as BASF and Philips. The tapes are untested, and some exhibit minor signs of wear and damage. Dimensions (biggest tape): 18 cm x 18 cm x 1 cm (7" x 7" x 0.5")

This lot comes from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973. Jeffery was responsible for developing and managing the career of Jimi Hendrix, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Animals, Soft Machine and others.
