Seven hand-drawn concept illustrations from the production of Henry Selick's stop-motion musical James and the Giant Peach. Made during pre-production, the set is thought to be the work of long-time Selick collaborator Deane Taylor with illustrations consistent with Taylor's style, though the illustrator remains unconfirmed. The illustrations are rendered in mixed media, two on illustration board and five on illustration paper, with two illustrations labeled "Early concept James and the Giant Peach Deane" and dated "'91." The set exhibits some markings, pinholes, and smudges throughout. Dimensions (largest): 49.5 cm x 38.75 cm (19½" x 15¼"); (smallest): 30 cm x 21 cm (11¾" x 8¼")
