A James stop-motion puppet head display from Henry Selick's fantasy adventure James and the Giant Peach. James (Paul Terry) transformed into a stop-motion figure when he entered the giant peach, on which he and several friendly insects journeyed to New York City. The film alternated between live-action and stop-motion sequences to reduce production costs.

Made of foam latex, the head has brown-painted, dishevelled hair and detailed facial features, including freckles and a pair of black bead-like eyes. Adhered to the neck is a white fabric shirt collar and a painted striped fabric tie. The head comes on a custom peach-shaped display base complete with a metal stalk. Dimensions (displayed): 10 cm x 10 cm x 15 cm (4" x 4" x 6")
