A collection of photoshoot sketches and character portrait booklets from the production of Bryan Singer’s 2013 fantasy adventure film Jack the Giant Slayer.

This set consists of eleven printed booklets containing pages of sketches, portraits and scene reference stills for Elmont (Ewan McGregor), Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Jack (Nicholas Hoult). Two of these booklets are spiral bound with clear acetate covers and are titled ‘Photoshoot Sketches & Character Portraits’. Five are named ‘3D Portraits’ and are held together by a staple in the top left corner. These booklets all have a title cover which is dated ‘07/14/11’ and feature the film's original title ‘Jack the Giant Killer’. Also included are four booklets that do not have a title page and feature a hole punched edges that have been ripped, indicating they have been taken from a spiral binding. These are held together by a strip of orange tape thread through a hole in the top left corner and have handwritten annotations reading either ‘L1-R’ or ‘L1-L’.

This collection displays wear from production use, including creasing, marks and minor tears to pages. Otherwise, this collection remains in an overall good condition.
