Jack's (Nicholas Hoult) prototype daggers from Bryan Singer’s 2013 fantasy adventure film Jack the Giant Slayer.

Jack (Nicholas Hoult) uses his dagger throughout the film, notably to help free Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Elmont (Ewan McGregor) from the giant cook's kitchen. He later gives the dagger to Elmont when he decides to stay behind to confront Lord Roderick (Stanley Tucci). One of the daggers is made from light aluminium with a carved wooden handle. The blade features an angled tip with two grooves running down its edge and has been intentionally distressed to look old and rusted. Accompanying this is an early prototype knife which would have been used to inform the look of the former dagger. This prototype appears to be a commercial kitchen knife with a black silicone handle and displaying two carved grooves and an angled blade similar to the look of the final production-made dagger. The knife's edge is very sharp.

The set displays some wear from production use, including scratches, marks, minor rusting and a small hole in the prototype's blade where the grooves have been carved. Otherwise, they remain in an overall very good condition.
