Jack Ryan's military costume from the 2014 thriller Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. In the film, a young CIA analyst, Jack Ryan, uncovers a plot to cripple the U.S. by a Russian terrorist, the operative must quickly adapt to working in the field to stop the scheme and protect his fiancée.
Jack wears his military costume in the opening scene of the film when onboard an army helicopter in Afghanistan. The desert-camouflaged shirt is made of 100% cotton and a size medium-regular. The shirt also has two gold ensign pins attached to both sides of the front collar and U.S. Marines patch on the left breast. The tactical carrier armor vest has a breathable lining, an adjustable waist and shoulder system, and made by Blackhawk!. The load bearing webbing is made of 100% nylon and includes rubber machine gun magazines in the pockets. The belt is made of nylon and has a metal buckle. The desert-camouflage pants are made of nylon are a size medium-long. The costume includes only one desert combat boot, which is a size 11.
Although the costume shows signs of production wear, all items remain in overall great condition.
