Collectors consider this poster the best poster created for this sci-fi classic. The Style B "Spotlight Dance" poster is more visual than the other formats. This is scarce in its existing condition.

This clean and rare "Style B" half sheet has a clean, one-inch tear in the center of the left border. The tear has been reinforced on the verso with archival tape and airbrushed lightly on the front.

A departure from 1950s mutating, multiplying, mauling creature features, Invasion of the Body Snatchers takes a different play off of the rampant paranoia of McCarthyism. The unsettling concept that the enemy is among us manifests itself as aliens (aka Communists) that arrive and overtake human bodies in a small California community.
