Mola Ram's (Amrish Puri) long death robe from Steven Spielberg's 1984 action adventure, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. This stunt robe was made for the climactic death sequence where Ram falls to his death and is eaten by crocodiles. This robe is one long swath of black fabric, with a red section sewn at one end. It would have been draped across the chest, and around the arm, of the actor wearing it. Various holes have been torn into the red fabric, from the teeth of the crocodiles. For filming, to make the crocodiles more vicious, chicken meat was sewn into the robe.
This item features some signs of wear from production use, including some tears in the fabric, but remains in overall very good condition.
