Hand-drawn scorpion designs by Phil Tippett from Joe Johnston’s adventure film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Phil Tippett supervised the sequence in which Antie faced off against a vicious scorpion.

The large blueprint features a detailed diagram of the scorpion with measurements, and notes like, ‘FAVOR THIS SIDE FOR DISTANCE BETWEEN LEG JOINTS.’ Piece of tracing paper and sketch paper diagram Antie’s exterior with measurements while piece of ILM note paper from the desk of Blair Clark feature of the interior and mechanics for the stop-motion puppet. The lot includes 8 items.

The lot was stored rolled in a cardboard tube after production. The pages show wear due to age and storage but the lot remains in good condition. Dimensions (largest): 36” x 24” (91 cm x 61 cm); dimensions (smallest): 8 ½” x 5 ½” (21.5 cm x 14 cm)
