A hand-drawn costume design sketch for The Kurgan from the production of Russell Mulcahy's fantasy action-adventure Highlander. The Kurgan (Clancy Brown) was an immortal barbarian who contended to win The Prize against Scottish immortal Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert).

Hand-illustrated by Academy Award®-winning costume designer James Acheson, this design is rendered in pencil on paper, with the actor's name and production title written in the top right corner. It features annotations calling out specific components and is signed by Acheson. The left edge of the paper has folded over over time. Dimensions: 42 cm x 30 cm (16 1/2" x 11 3/4")
