An eye-catching Hungarian A1 or 1 Sheet by artist Tibor Helenyi for the epic 1986 action yarn Highlander featuring Clancy Brown's baddie the Kurgan in full headgear swinging a sword.

On March 7, 1986, this film - about an immortal Scottish warrior charged with protecting humanity from the scourge of the evil Kurgan, likewise immortal and known for his cruelty and barbarism - opened and closed to little acclaim. Earning only $12.9 million against a budget of $19 million, it received mixed reviews from critics and overall apathy from audiences, who preferred to spend their movie-going dollars on films like House (1986), Pretty in Pink (1986), and A Room with a View (1986). But, like its protagonist, the film refused to die. With a strong performance in Europe and an incredible reception in the home video market (a relatively new phenomenon at the time), Highlander, starring Christopher Lambert as hero Connor MacLeod, Sean Connery as Juan Sanchez-Villalobos Ramirez, his immortal teacher and mentor. Since 1986, it has developed a widespread and devoted cult following worldwide, showing no signs of abating as fans eagerly await news of future developments and releases.
