A pair of ape hands and feet from Hugh Hudson's drama Greystoke: The Lengend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. The hands are made of hard foam with a sleeve for the performer to insert their hand. The performer's hand would only reach the upper forearm and the remainder of the arm is solid foam. These arm extenders allowed human actors to portray the movement of apes at the proper scale. The arm is covered in a nylon hair sleeve and the hand is foam latex curled into a knuckled position. The elastic band that would have secured the hand to the actor is marked "T. Crockett" for Tessa Crockett, a performer in the film.

The feet consist of a hard plastic show where the performer would insert their foot. This is then covered with an elastic sleeve with hair, while the bottom is hard form textured to resemble ape flesh. The toes are also detailed foam. While the foam that comprises these pieces has hardened in a number of areas due to age, the lot remains in fair condition. Hand dimensions (each): 19" x 5" x 5" (47cm x 13 cm x 13 cm); feet dimensions: 12" x 7" x 4" (30 cm x 17 cm x 10 cm)
