“Get off my lawn!”
A U.S. M1 Garand rifle used in the American drama film Gran Torino. After catching his neighbour Thao (Bee Vang) attempting to steal his beloved 1972 Gran Torino, Korean war veteran Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) seeks to reform the youngster and help protect Thao’s family from the gangs that invade their neighbourhood.

Walt Kowalski used his Garand rifle to chase Thao out of his garage to prevent his Torino being stolen, and also uses the rifle to scare the Hmong gang members off of his lawn. Cast from one of the hero working rifles used on the film, this very realistic looking static prop weapon is made from a very dense rubber. The stock has been finished in paint that mimics wood whilst the rest of the rifle including the butt plate, trigger, barrel and front sight has been finished in black to mimic blued steel. Metal loops have been fitted for attaching a sling.

The weapon has some slight markings, cracks and and wear to the paint finish on the right hand side of the rifle, however in spite of this wear it remains in overall very good production-used condition.

The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.

Exemptions are for N.A.R.E.S (or similar) registered re-enactors, public museums/galleries or use in a film, television or theatrical production. In all cases paperwork will be required to complete the sale
