A certificate proclaiming the commemoration of "Golden Girls Day" signed by Palm Springs Mayor Sonny Bono, and awarded to Golden Girls star Estelle Getty for her contributions to entertainment on November 2, 1990 and a script from the comedy series The Golden Girls.

From the collection of Estelle Getty's personal assistant and friend, Rich Weaver, this fold-out certificate is printed on cream-color City of Palm Springs, California letterhead with red, black, and gold-color printed text and a gold-color ribbon applied to the interior. It is signed "Sonny Bono" in black ink. Also included is a final draft script for the Season 6 episode "Mrs. George Devereaux," in which Bono appeared, labeled for Estelle Getty. The certificate exhibits uneven edges, fold lines, and minor stains from handling. Dimensions: 9.25" x 16" (23.5 cm x 40.75 cm)
