Lyra's (Dakota Blue Richards) alethiometer casing from Chris Weitz's fantasy adventure The Golden Compass. The alethiometer was a spiritual device used by Lyra to rescue her best friend Roger (Ben Walker) and other kidnapped children from the Gobblers.

The prop department created the device's intricately decorated outer shell from forged brass. The lid opens to reveal an image of Prague's Church of Our Lady before TÃ½n. Three faux winding crowns adorn the outside edge, and the inside of the casing is marked "1" in black marker. The lot displays marks and intentional weathering to appear used. Dimensions (closed): 10 cm x 8.5 cm x 3.5 cm (4" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/2")
