A signed Godzilla Prototype Maquette made for the production of Gareth Edwards’ 2014 reboot of Godzilla. Sculpted by artist Hector A. Arce, this statue served as an early concept for how the legendary kaiju would appear in the most recent western adaptation of the beloved monster series. This piece is cast in resin and is painted with detail. Godzilla’s skin features detailed scales and spikes which grow larger on the back and are painted blue. Godzilla stands on a custom wood base which is signed by the artist in silver marker. Showing some signs of wear from storage and use, including a split at the knee on one leg, this piece remains in overall good condition.
