A Roman legionaries sword and scabbard from Ridley Scott's Oscar®-winning historical epic Gladiator. Roman legionaries wielded their swords as they fought the barbarians in the forests of Germania during the film's opening battle, under the command of General Maximus (Russell Crowe).

The weapon comprises an aluminium blade, a notched wooden grip, a wooden guard and a spherical wooden pommel. Covered in red canvas fabric, the scabbard is also made of wood and features metal band detailing around the top. Care should be taken when removing the weapon from the scabbard, as it can be difficult to withdraw. Dimensions: 79 cm x 10.5 cm x 6.5 cm (31" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/2")
