Praetorian guard helmet, chest armor, a sword, and a scabbard from Ridley Scott's Gladiator. Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) gained the Praetorian Guard, an elite unit of the Imperial Roman Army, as his personal bodyguards when he became Emperor.

This costume consists of a foam-padded fiberglass helmet with leather chin straps, bird details on the top and sides, and a resin crown attachment marked "SR 28"; black painted plated plastic body armor painted to appear metallic and affixed with metal buckles and brown leather details; a black painted canvas and metal sheath; and a metal sword with a black painted carved wooden handguard, grip, and pommel. This lot exhibits knicks to the sword, minor chipped paint on the sword's grip, and a loose crown attachment on the helmet. Dimensions: (sheathed) 32" x 5" x 3" (81.5 cm x 13 cm x 8 cm)
