This lot will be sold on Wednesday August 26th (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-433 will be sold on day 1 (lots 434-870 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 10:00AM PDT. Amsterdam Vallon's (Leonardo DiCaprio) stunt club axe from Martin Scorsese's crime drama Gangs of New York. Amsterdam used his club axe during the final battle against the Natives.

The prop club axe is made of foam urethane and painted and sculpted to depict leather and wood. A rock has been sculpted into the hilt and a dague atop the axe head. The dague shows signs of chipping and creasing from production use and age, but the piece remains in good overall condition.
