Snake Eyes’ (Ray Park) Stunt Sword from Stephen Sommers’ 2009 action adventure, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. In the film, a secret military team known as G.I. Joe pursues the dangerous terrorist organization Cobra in an effort to keep the world safe from evil. Snake Eyes can be seen carrying this stunt sword on his back throughout the film, and it would have been used in the sword fight sequence between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.
This Katana-style sword is crafted of dense rubber. The blade has been painted silver to mimic hardened steel. The sleek, black grip features six quadrilateral holes leading to the base, which features the exposed Nakago, or handle portion of the blade steel. The Tsuba, or hand guard, is black with four notches and silver detailing around the edge. The blade features red tape shaped into the emblem of the Arashikage clan, two fuller grooves, and a portion of the blade near the Tsuba features a serrated edge.
This item contains some wear due to production use, but is still in great condition.
