A prop book used in the comedy film The Final Curtain starring Peter O’Toole. This book, written by ‘Jonathan Stitch’ (Adrian Lester) features a photograph of the showbiz newcomer Dave Turner (Aiden Gillenr) and the old school veteran J.J. Curtis (Peter O’Toole). In the film Curtis employs Jonathan Stitch to write the story of his life and the author becomes a witness to a ratings war between the two entertainers. The book is actually a book on ‘Selected Literary Criticisms’ with a prop made front cover. Measures 25cm x 16cm (10” x 6.25”)
