A Vilena flag from the production of Sylvester Stallone's 2010 action / adventure film, The Expendables. Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his team of battle-hardened mercenaries, known as 'The Expendables,' take on a ruthless dictator and a rogue C.I.A. agent on a small island on the brink of revolution. Several Vilena flags can be seen mounted on the front of Munroe's (Eric Roberts) vehicle as he meets with General Garza (David Zayas) during various points in the film.
This nylon flag displays the symbol of the small island country on its left side over a gold background. Green, white, black, and red are also included in the colorful design behind which the emblem is shown. This item also features a lining of gold filigree along with a brass ring in the upper left corner for securing safely while on display. The left trim is looped so that it can be hung from a small pole.
This piece shows light wear from production and remains in good overall condition.
