A black tactical vest from the production of Sylvester Stallone's 2010 action / adventure film, The Expendables. Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his team of battle-hardened mercenaries, known as 'The Expendables,' take on a ruthless dictator and a rogue C.I.A. agent on a small island on the brink of revolution. The Expendables are often seen in full gear including tactical vests as they carry out their operations.
Made of nylon thread, this item also includes a removable neck protector that can be secured to the inside of the vest with Velcro. The vest incorporates the Pouch Attachment Ladder System, a load-bearing system for securing various pouches and tactical equipment using the nylon threaded webbing stitched throughout the vests exterior. Three buttons and a thick Velcro lining run vertically down the front of this piece to close it securely. Two adjustable straps are located on either side of the vest for customizable fitting; however the two on the items right side have been taped over, likely for production purposes. The vest also includes a thick nylon handle which has been stitched just below the back of the collar.
This piece shows light wear from production and is in good overall condition.
