Scott Fischer’s (Jake Gyllenhaal) first stage climb costume from the Working Title adventure biopic Everest. Fischer wore his costume when climbing the lower levels of Mount Everest, most notably in the scenes when Beck Weathers (Josh Brolin) almost falls to his death at the Ice Falls.

The lot consists of a black woollen “Mountain Madness” hat, a black Helly Hansen puffer jacket (size medium) with a “Mountain Madness” patch sewn to the left arm, a royal blue Salewa fleece (size large), a pair of blue Helly Hansen trousers (size regular), a pair of navy blue gaiters, a pair of blue Helly Hansen gloves (size medium), a pair of grey Vuarnet sunglasses and a pair of green and grey Koflach boots (size UK 10.5). The hat is accompanied by an original wardrobe tag reading “Hero Hat.” Showing production-use including stains on the trousers and imitation snow residue throughout, the costume remains in good condition.
