Scott Fischer’s (Jake Gyllenhaal) death costume from the Working Title adventure biopic Everest. Fischer wore his costume during his descent down Mount Everest where tragically his health gives out, leaving him to die on the mountain side.

The lot consists of a teal and black Helly Hansen down suit, a black woollen “Mountain Madness” hat, a blue Black Wolf fleece (size medium), a pair of blue and green Helly Hansen gloves (size large), a grey fleece neck buff, black Uvex goggles with orange lens, a pair of Forty Below overboots (size large) and a pair of yellow La Sportiva boots (size UK 10 ½). The overboots display a handwritten label reading “Scott Fischer Hero.” Showing imitation snow residue throughout and the goggles lens are frosted out, the costume remains in distressed production-used condition.
