A pair of original hand-drawn concept sketches of the EM-1 Railgun from Charles Russell’s 1996 action / drama film Eraser. U.S. Marshall John Kruger (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is tasked with protecting Lee Cullen (Vanessa Williams), the only witness in a deal to release a new, highly dangerous weapon on the black market.

Illustrated by TyRuben Ellingson, the set includes two concept drawings of the advanced railgun, a rifle with an x-ray scope and the ability to fire aluminum rounds at nearly the speed of light.

Drawn white paper which has been trimmed down, both of these sketches have been drawn by hand with pencil. The first page depicts right-sided skeletal view of the gun with minor notes beneath the drawing. At the bottom left of the page is the film’s title alongside the artist’s signature. The second page, which is smaller than the other, shows a more external version of the weapon with less attention to detail. At the bottom left of the page is what appears to be the side profile of a figure, sketched in ink.

Both pages show slight wear from age but remain in good overall condition.
