Alai’s (Suraj Partha) Basic Duty Uniform Costume from Gavin Hood’s 2012 Sci-Fi adaption Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the alien race known as Formics. BDU costumes were made for use in multiple Command School scenes where Ender and his squad are in simulation training.

The costume includes matching slate blue uniform jacket and pants and a black turtleneck. The jacket features four faux pockets, International Fleet insignias on both shoulders, magnetic cuff straps, and a front zipper. The right breast of the suit features an attached rubber name bar reading “Al-Nubi.” The pants and turtleneck both feature markings for “Alai” on their tag. The item shows production wear including loose stitching on the bottom right hand side of the uniform jacket, but remains in otherwise good condition.
