This is an animatronic baby head used in the 1999 Arnold Schwarzenegger film End of Days. The head can be seen in the beginning of the film as Christine York is born in 1979 and, recognized as the one chosen to bear Satan’s son, is part of a ritual performed by her evil physician Dr. Abel (Udo Kier). The animatronic head features a silicone exterior over a fiberglass skull. The interior of the skull features numerous mechanical parts designed to make the mouth of the piece move when connected to a power source. The head has been intricately crafted down to the tiniest detail including closed eyes, eyelashes, tiny wrinkles and even several hand punched hairs at top. The head measures approximately 4” x 4” (10cm x 10cm) and is in good condition with some light wear (see photos).
