James Dean's production payslip from his role as Caleb Trask in Elia Kazan's period drama East of Eden. Dean became the first actor to receive a posthumous Academy Award® nomination for his role in the film, and he received another for Giant the following year. The Warner Bros. Pictures payslip is dated 3 July 1954 and features Dean's name and the amount he earned, as well as other important information. It has "paid" handwritten in the top left corner. It originally came from the estate of Dean's agent Jane Deacy and it is presented in a clear plastic display stand. Dimensions: 3.5" x 7" (9 cm x 18 cm)
