A holstered stunt Lawgiver from the production of Pete Travis’ dystopian thriller Dredd.

Assigned a psychic rookie candidate for field training, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) and rookie Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) hit the streets of Mega City 1 and soon become embroiled in a deep investigation regarding the illegal drug Slo-Mo and brutal gang leader Ma-Ma (Lena Headey).

The Judges carried their Lawgiver firearms holstered on their legs throughout the film. Stunt Lawgivers would have been used for sequences where live fire models were not required, such as during stunts and movements involving actors and crew in close proximity.

This piece is made of black cast foam rubber, with the gun permanently fixed in its rubber and faux-leather holster. Elaborate cast-in detail runs along the receiver and grip. The holster is comprised of nylon webbing straps with Velcro® and press stud fastenings. Plastic ratchet straps allow for fastening to and adjustment on the wearer’s leg.

Despite some minor wear to each component, the piece remains in very good production-used condition.
