A Bethlam Asylum patient’s toy bricks from NBC’s horror-drama Dracula. These bricks and others like them would have been played with by a patient under the care of Dr Murray (Anthony Calf) during the third episode of the series.
The set displays a number of multi-coloured painted wooden building blocks in cubes and cylinders. They are provided in a wooden storage box with a sliding lid. Some blocks feature production pencil markings and the reverse side of the container lid has a drawing of how to assemble the pieces within the box. Distressed from use on the production, the child’s toy remains in very good used condition with the storage box measuring 26.5 cm x 16.5 cm x 5 cm (10 ½” x 6 ½” x 2”).

This is an original asset used in the production of the NBC television drama Dracula. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store, Carnival and NBCUniversal. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the show.
