A lot of Cat and Thing appliances from Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat. This lot consists of face, side of face and ear appliances, each made of foam latex. The cat face appliance covers the cheeks, snout, and eyebrows. It is offered on a vacuform plastic lifecast of Rick Baker with a label that reads "Test #1 on Rick/Cat". The ears are sculpted to achieve a feline appearance. The Thing appliances cover the full face and rest on a vacuform tray labeled "Thing Kelly Stables". The Cat appliances show light wear with some drying around the edges but remain in overall good condition. The Thing appliances have become very brittle and are in fair condition. Dimensions (each appliance on tray): 18" x 12" x 9" (46 cm x 30 cm x 23 cm);
