A lot of Cat in the Hat (Mike Myers) appliances from Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat. This lot consists of face, side of face and ear appliances, all made of foam latex. The face appliance would cover the cheeks, snout and above the eyebrows and has been painted to match the appearance of the famous character. It is offered on a vacuform plastic tray with a label that reads "CITH CMM4." The appliances for the side of the face are also foam latex on a vacuform tray and have a label marked "CITH (Myers) Side of Face." Finally, the ears are foam latex sculpted to achieve a feline appearance and painted in keeping with the character's skin tone. All appliances in the lot show some wear due to age and production use, particularly at their edges where the foam latex has become brittle. Despite this, the lot remains in fair condition. Dimensions (largest, on tray): 4" x 8" x 14" (10cm x 20 cm x 35 cm)
