A chair back used in the production of the Neil Marshall horror thriller Doomsday. After a virus is unleashed in Scotland, a wall is raised to prevent it spreading into England. But as a new epidemic wreaks havoc throughout London and a new quarantine is raised, it's up to DDS agent Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra) and a team of scientists to head over the wall to try and find the cure.
This chair back and others like it were used during the production of the horror film, with this chair back used to assign a chair for cast members during filming. The chair back is made of black canvas with holes for slipping over the rear arms of the folding set chairs and Velcro fastenings at the bottom. The name "Doomsday" is embroidered in red cotton across the back in a bold font, with "Cast" embroidered on the opposite side. Well used on set, the chair back displays some wear from use but remains in good production-used condition. The chair back measures 65cm x 23cm (25.75" x 9").
