This lot will be auctioned on Saturday, November 5th. An Auton SFX head and a set of Auton blaster hands from the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who. In the Season 1 premiere "Rose", the Autons were disguised as mannequins.

This lot comprises two hinged fibreglass hands and a foam-rubber head mounted on a metal frame that swivels at the neck. Also included is another fibreglass hand, fastened to a pole, from the Season 5 episode "The Pandorica Opens". Painted to resemble skin, the hand has a split with two metal gun barrels. Dimensions (head): 64 cm x 35 cm x 21 cm (25 1/2" x 13 3/4" x 8 1/2")

A percentage of the final hammer price of this lot will benefit BBC Children in Need (charity number 802052 in England & Wales and SC039557 in Scotland.) BBC Children in Need, Pudsey Bear and Blush are trade marks of the BBC and are used under licence.
