Two melted Dalek skirts from the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who. In the Season 7 premiere "Asylum of the Daleks", Rory (Arthur Darvill) discovered a room full of heavily damaged and melted Daleks, after The Doctor (Matt Smith) hacked an idle Dalek with his sonic screwdriver and caused it to self-destruct.

Each Dalek skirt is made of fibreglass, resin, medium-density fibreboard and expanding foam, textured and painted to look like melted metal and plastic. The lot displays significant paint wear, missing bosses and damage from its time spent in previous storage facilities. Dimensions (largest): 145 cm x 97 cm x 140 cm (57" x 38 1/4" x 55 1/4")

A percentage of the final hammer price of this lot will benefit BBC Children in Need (charity number 802052 in England & Wales and SC039557 in Scotland.) BBC Children in Need, Pudsey Bear and Blush are trade marks of the BBC and are used under licence.
