A bearded man’s latex mask from Quentin Tarantino’s revenge tale, Django Unchained. The film follows a freed slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) and Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) as they take out known slave owners and search for Django’s lost wife. This mask was likely made to be worn by a stunt performer during the giant shootout sequence at Candyland.

The latex mask was made from a life cast of a performer’s face and painted to resemble a realistic skin tone. The face features blonde beard and eyebrow hair that has been glued on by a member of production. A Velcro opening runs along the back of the head, making it easily worn by a performer. There are two small air holes in each nostril as well as holes in each ear for hearing. The mask remains in good condition.
