A pair of Dexter Morgan's (Michael C. Hall) SFX scalpels from James Manos, Jr.'s crime series Dexter. Dexter hunted fellow serial killers throughout the series, including when he tortured Mike Donovan (Jim Abele) with his scalpel in the series' premiere episode "Dexter."

This lot comes from the collection of renowned special effects artist Tom "Brooklyn" Bellissimo. It consists of two hollowed stainless steel Thermo Electron 745 surgical scalpels. One scalpel is glued with a plastic SFX blood pipette. Both exhibit scratches and glue residue from production use. Dimensions (scalpel with pipette): 7" x 0.75" x 0.5" (18 cm x 2 cm x 1.5 cm); (scalpel without pipette): 7" x 0.75" x 0.25" (18 cm x 2 cm x 0.75 cm)

Blades were dulled by production. This lot comes from the collection of renowned special effects artist Tom "Brooklyn" Bellissimo. A letter of authenticity from Bellissimo is included.
