A hero pistol used in the production of Martin Scorsese’s “Infernal Affairs” remake The Departed. Caught between the Irish-American mob and the police, two police officers find their rivalries tested as they both go under cover – one to try and infiltrate the mob to find a mole within the police, the other working for the mobsters to try and find the mole in their organisation.
This pistol was used by undercover cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) throughout the film as he struggled to crack the mob and find out the identity of the mob mole within the Boston Police Department.

Marked with the serial number A084789, this pistol is a hero Interarms Walther PPK made of nickel-plated steel with black plastic grips. The weapon has been sympathetically deactivated after use on the production and features an operable slide, magazine release, hammer and trigger. A threaded barrel allows for the attachment of a suppressor.

The pistol is supplied with certificates of deactivation and rental paperwork from the production armourers. Displaying some wear to the pistol’s finish through use, this stunning piece remains in excellent production-used condition.

This weapon has been permanently and sympathetically deactivated to U.K. legal requirements and no longer retains any functional capacity to fire.
