An illustration of Batman hand-drawn by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez from the promotion of Tim Burton's superhero sequel Batman Returns. Garcia-Lopez created numerous illustrations of the Dark Knight for several style guides for DC's merchandising department, including those used to market the film.

This black-and-white pin-up-style illustration of Batman against a brick wall is rendered in ink on vellum, initialed "GL," and applied over DC-branded cover stock. It exhibits stickiness from tape residue and discoloration in several spots from age. Dimensions: 17" x 11" (43.25 cm x 28 cm)
