Action Comics no. 252 CGC 4.0 published by DC Comics in May 1959. The issue was written by Robert Bernstein and Otto Binder, art was rendered by Al Plastino and Howard Sherman, and the cover art was done by Curt Swan and Al Plastino. It features the origin and first appearance of Kara Zor-El as Supergirl and supervillain Metallo. CGC notes "light spine roll; light staining to cover; moderate spine stress lines cover breaks color; multiple crease cover breaks color."
