SkekTek the scientist's brooch prototype and printed concept art from Jim Henson's and Frank Oz's fantasy adventure film The Dark Crystal. SkekTek, the scientist of the Skeksis, wore clothing adorned with technology and jewellery.

This scorpion-shaped resin brooch is painted to resemble grey metal with a green patina, yellow talons in its claws and tail, and a centred orange faux crystal. Included is a printed copy of brooch concept sketches. The brooch exhibits minimal chipping; the print exhibits folding and edge wear. Dimensions (print, unfolded): 42 cm x 20.5 cm (16.5" x 12"); (broach): 23 cm x 14 cm x 6.5 cm (9" x 5.5" x 2.5")
