Dr. Ellie Arroway's (Jodie Foster) candidate profile, "The Machine" data file and IMC paperwork from Robert Zemeckis' sci-fi film Contact.

Ellie's profile includes pages containing her personal, educational and medical history. "The Machine" file includes pages of data and graphs pertaining to the alien transportation device constructed in Cape Canaveral. The International Machine Consortium (IMC) paperwork includes six pages featuring an alien language, each with handwritten annotations and highlights; three pages of printed concept art of The Machine; and an empty IMC folder. Some of the paperwork has minor staining and the concept art has pin holes in each corner. Dimensions (candidate profile): 29.5 cm x 24 cm (11 1/2" x 9 1/2")
