A jumpsuit worn in the fourth film of the original Apes franchise, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Set in a dystopian vision of 1991, the film follows circus owner Armando (Ricardo Montalban) and Caesar (Roddy McDowall), the son of ape travellers from the future. Hunted by the police in a society where apes are slave labourers, Caesar soon finds himself at the head of an ape rebellion against man.
This style of jumpsuit was worn by the chimpanzees working in America as common slaves. Made of green cotton, the jumpsuit has a collar, a zip fitted down the front, four zip pockets and button closures at the wrists. The jumpsuit was made especially for the production and as such has no sizes marked.

Displaying some wear from use, one of the zips has mis-matched teeth and will not close fully. However, in spite of this wear, the jumpsuit remains in very good condition.
