A cardstock slate display from Steven Spielberg's 1977 sci-fi classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. This blank slate was made by production for use during filming, however it was ultimately unused.

The slate features the title of the film at the top, and is noted as Prod. 132215. There are numerous other titles with headings such as "Scene," "Take," "Date," "Camera," among others. This slate comes presented in a custom built frame with a laser-cut mount board featuring the film's title. This item remains in very good condition.
