Hal Tucker’s (Michael Rooker) costume from the production of Renny Harlin’s 1993 high-altitude thriller Cliffhanger.

A former mountain rescuer, Gabe (Sylvester Stallone), rescues ‘stranded hikers’ (John Lithgow, Craig Fairbrass. Leon Robinson) in the Rocky Mountains and discovers that they are violent criminals looking for their missing $100 million after a plane crash.

Hal, a mountain rescuer who accompanies his former best friend Gabe up the mountain, wears his costume for much of the film. It consists of a jacket, fleece, undershirt and trousers. The trousers feature two labels, one which has ‘Rooker Hal M. Rooker’ handwritten on it, and the other reads ‘Mark Hal Mark’. Mark De Alessandro was one of the stunt performers on the film. The jacket and fleece both feature ‘Rocky Mountain Park Rescue’ patches on the arms.

The costume has been intentionally distressed, including holes in the undershirt and dirt on the trousers. Considering the age of the piece it remains in an excellent, production-used condition.
