Chuck Noland's (Tom Hanks) screen-matched painting shell from Robert Zemeckis' Cast Away. This shell's distinctive shape and detailing screen-match to the scene in which island castaway Noland painted the wall of his cavernous shelter.

This oversized, textured, off-white bivalve shell is applied with brown latex on its underside and multicolored stains on its top. It has been polished to remove grime and grit, and exhibits holes, cracking, and minor splits in the latex from natural erosion processes as well as age. Dimensions: 12" x 8.25" x 5.25" (30.5 cm x 21 cm x 13.5 cm)
