This lot will be sold on Tuesday, 1st December (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1 (lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. Lots are sold sequentially so there is no preset ending time. A live streaming broadcast of the auction will be available on auction days.

A light-up Hydra battery from Joe Johnston's superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger. Batteries were used by Hydra soldiers to power their equipment and weaponry.

The battery is a resin shell, painted faux silver to mimic metal, with clear acrylic windows. Hundreds of small transparent plastic balls are contained within the battery, and these illuminate with blue LEDs when powered.

A battery pack and wires are secured inside, and the lot is supplied with a charger. The battery has some wear from production use, including scuffs and scratches. Some of the acrylic around the outside has chipped off and one of the LEDs glows green instead of blue. Dimensions: 34 cm x 10.5 cm x 6 cm (13 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/4")
