This costume was worn by one of the Red Skull’s loyal HYDRA soldiers as they developed their master plan for taking over the world. The costume is composed of a bespoke tunic and trousers constructed of coarse green and black material with synthetic leather patches on the neck, shoulders, sleeves and legs, as well as a harness, gun, pair of black leather gloves, and a pair of leather boots. The boots are a size 11 and are each marked with “H.I. 108” and the pants are a size 34L.
The harness is made from a dense urethane that features a HYDRA logo at the waist. The back of the harness is painted silver and is a box that houses electronics that have not been tested. This harness shows some splitting near the top left shoulder.
The gun is made from a dense urethane and contains resin components as well has rubber tubes. This gun still functions as it was intended and lights up with a switch that is hidden near the stock. This switch has come loose and falls into the body of the gun but is easily retrievable by removing a plastic screw and removing a panel.
Red piping, buttons, a plastic zipper and a distinctive red HYDRA patch on the left arm complete the jacket, with similar piping on the
The helmet is made from a combination of urethane, fabric, and leather. A set of acrylic lenses are present in each eye of the helmet. The style of this helmet is consistent with the style worn by HYDRA pilots in the movie and the inside is marked with “Pilot 2”. The inside of the helmet also has plastic Velcro and magnets where other components would have attached.
This costume shows some wear but remains in overall good condition.
