Colonel Phillips' (Tommy Lee Jones) dummy grenade from Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger. Doubtful of Dr. Erskine's (Stanley Tucci) faith in Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Phillips tossed a grenade into the squad to prove his point that the program needed a good soldier to be a hero. While the other men took cover, Rogers threw himself onto the grenade, proving Erskine's point instead that Rogers was hero material, much to Phillips' frustration.

This grenade consists of a urethane rubber body painted military green and fused with a metal spoon, as well as a safety pin designed to flip the spoon when pulled. The grenade is accompanied by a metal display stand. This lot exhibits chipped and flaked paint. Dimensions: 4.25" x 2.25" x 2.25" (11 cm x 6 cm x 6 cm)
